Largest cattle drive ever was on August 24, 1882 when 16 cowboys (with a remuda of 125 horses) drove 10,652 cattle 33 miles from Tulia to Canyon Texas. The drive occurred entirely within the boundary of the T Anchor Ranch and the herd size has held the record for over 147 years.
