A big congratulations to my neighbor the Singleton Ranches for being awarded the very prestigious 2012 Bayer Best Remuda Award, presented by the American Quarter Horse Association.
Since Grant Mitchell took over horse operations they have (quoting from Western Horse Magazine) “consistently bred top-notch performance stallions to traditionally bred broodmares creating cowboy, athletic prospects that will perform in the area and on the ranch.” I’m hoping my next horse will come from there, truly great working ranch horses.
