Stolen horses are always a problem and especially so in these bad economic times. Netposse has merged with Stolen Horse International to become the one place to list information about stolen horses. Horse buyers should definitely check this site before purchasing a horse to make sure it’s not on their list.
They also have a strong education component offering brochures, speaking engagements and speakers. It’s not just horse owners who need to know about this, it’s also law enforcement officials and the general public. Horse thieves have always been regarded as “low life” and we need to continue to make stealing animals socially unacceptable.

I am so thankful for all of you who help Stolen Horse International, aka NetPosse.com in any way. And today one of the first emails I opened (even though I should be figuring out how to cook that turkey) was the one about Richard’s blog talking about NetPosse.com
When I stumbled upon Richard’s blog I got a very nice surprise. The successes of Stolen Horse International have been partly responsible because of people who pass info along about us and about the many horses and equipment on the site. Richard did very well at passing the word along about the mission of Stolen Horse International. I am sure it only took him a few minutes to do so and we never know who his act of kindness may help in the future.
Harold and I want to take this time to thank you all for any moment that you have helped this organization or one of our victims. Without you we would not be able to do what we do so successfully. Thank you, thank you!
